Lead Teaching Artist, ABC lab (티칭아티스트, 에이비씨 랩), 2020
Online and offline classes were conducted over a span of 9 weeks, specifically aimed at local families in Seoul, South Korea.
Amidst the pandemic, we were one of the first art education organizations which spearheaded a hybrid educational approach by utilizing the Zoom platform in conjunction with weekly art toolkit deliveries. Bringing together ten diverse families in a virtual setting, we hosted workshops encompassing performance arts, theater, digital and paper collage, as well as drawing sessions.
One of the workshops we loved was "collaborative house building with families using provided materials." Participants learned about the unique characteristics of materials and the basic principles of balance and composition.
At the end of the workshops, participants were encouraged to curate and exhibit their family projects, as well as provide docent tours for other attendees.
